FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY
Eat the Street is a fantastic day out for the whole family! There will be lots of fun and entertainment with free activities and performances throughout the day. There will be lantern decorating, a jumping castle, mosaic chalk drawing, curiosity carnival and roving performances with the Flash Collective and the Slow Show.

Decorate a Lantern
12-5pm
Decorate a lantern at Eat the Street and join in the Parade on 20 June. Still just $12.50 each!
Lantern renovations – got a lantern that looks a bit shabby? Come and get it renovated at the Lantern Stall. As good as new for $10 per lantern which includes an LED candle.
The Slow Show
Roving Performances
Trichia is a nature-loving human and Helix is a giant garden snail. They live in Helix’s beautifully crafted shell and are slowly travelling the world, enjoying the magic in simple things and eating lettuce, catch them grazing at Eat the Street.

Chalk it up with The Chalkies!
Create a colourful and collaborative chalk mosaic with 'The Chalkies' our local artists Rene Bolten & Claudie Frock. A fun and free family friendly activity. Enjoy creating with your friends at Eat the Street!

The kids will be bouncing into the fun at Eat the Street with the Northern Rivers Jumping Castle in the centre of activity.
The Flash Collective
Roving Performances
The Flash Collective is a quirky and bad-ass physical theatre ensemble. They create interactive, absurd, comical and visually captivating performance pieces with strong dance elements. They love nothing more than creating unexpected moments in random places and believe in play, freedom of expression and the power of connection. The Flash Collective will be providing roving performances throughout the day.
The Tent of Curiosities & Wonders
Lismore Quad - 11 Rural Street, Lismore

Come visit the circus space full of awesome toys for kids of all ages. Hoops, juggling balls and clubs, devil sticks, poi, skipping ropes, mini tramp and teeter boards PLUS a treasure chest full of dress ups, hats, wigs and fun stuff. There is drawing and painting workshops, paper and nature craft, clay modelling, storytellers and awesome kids shows! The Tent of Curiosities and Wonders brings an authentic vintage carnival feel to The Quads corner for Eat The Street.

Back Alley Gallery

Rediscover the underground street art culture of The Back Alley Gallery in Lismore! Lismore Laneways will be refreshed with a stellar lineup of local emerging and established artists creating new work on the walls during Eat the Street. The Back Alley Gallery has been transforming the laneways of Lismore for at least 10 years and this outdoor art gallery is here for the community to enjoy. Street art is alive in Lismore and an important part of the thriving local art scene.
Face Painting with Faces of Fairy

Kids will just love the fairy dust sprinkles with Simone from 'Faces of Fairy'. Simone has enjoyed a career as a professional performer in the Australian entertainment industry as a vocalist and dancer and has toured with Kylie Minogue, Meatloaf, Tina Arena and support to Tom Jones and Jamie O'Neal. Musical Theatre highlights include: Grease-The Arena Spectacular, PeaceTrain @Sydney Opera House, The Boy From Oz (Todd McKenny) & Dusty The Original Pop Diva
