Looking forward to watching Kain Hunt on the cooking stage at Eat the Street demonstrating how to make a Nam Jim dressing and then use it in 2 different appetizers:

- House smoked salmon, nam jim betal leaf, crunchy macadamia

- Roasted tomato, Byron Bay mozzarella, nam jim, thai basil

Kain is the Secret Chef Catering Deli and Cafe is the ‘food child’ with wife Jade Hunt. New to the Lismore food scene with a new shop front in the Embassy Arcade, Keen Street Lismore. They can also cater for all occasions from Weddings to birthdays, private dinners and special or themed events by combining their 30 years of chefing and front of house expertise.

Secret Chef Catering, which is based in the Byron Bay hinterland is available to cater for all events in the Northern Rivers of NSW .This will includes areas such as Lismore, Ballina, Byron Bay to Kingscliff and the hinterland areas as well as Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane in South east Queensland.

Specialising in local, fresh produce wherever possible, Secret Chef Catering has developed some great relationships with a diverse range of farmers, growers and fisheries. Using this beautiful fresh produce they individually design menus to cater for your special occasion using the cuisine influences of your personal preference from Modern Australia, Asia, Mediterranean, Europe, USA and South America.
