Georgia Barnes is a professional cook, nutritionist and food educator. Determined to inspire everyday people to cook from scratch and to see the beauty in real food, the 32 year old kick started her career in the food industry after placing runner-up on MasterChef Australia in 2015. Known throughout the series for her creative-flair, delicious desserts and plating skills, Georgia’s warm and bubbly persona made her a household favourite. Since her television debut, Georgia now combines her nutritional knowledge and culinary skills to educate home cooks about the benefits of cooking with wholesome, fresh ingredients. As one of the resident chefs at Eden, a five star health resort situated in the Currumbin Valley, Georgia creates and delivers nourishing food as well as interactive demonstrations and nutritional talks. Whether it’s through recipe development, hosting classes and demonstrations or through regular TV appearances, Georgia hopes to encourage everyday people to simply, cook more!
