Located on the Bruxner Highway Lismore is easily accessed by car. With the recent highway upgrades Lismore is a two hour drive from Brisbane, over an hour from the Gold Coast and nine hours from Sydney.

Lismore is serviced by Regional Express Airlines (REX) offering passengers 52 flights per week between Sydney and Lismore. Lismore Regional Airport is only a 5 minute drive away from the City Centre with taxi, limousine and hire car services available.
